Digital Bangladesh
Nowadays the phrase Digital Bangladesh' has become a buzzword () to the people of all walks of life of Bangladesh. It means digitalising Bangiadesh by ensuring an ICT based society where information will be available online and where all possible tasks of the government and non-goverament or semi-goverment organisations will be performed by means of digital technology.
The motto of digital Bangladesh is to establish techmology based digital governance, e-commerce, e-agriculture, e-production, education etc. emphasizing the a overall development of the country and the nation.
The benefits of digital Bangladesh are many, If we can establish a digital Bangladesh, corruption will be drastically () reduced by enhancing transparency (er) and accountability (). It will help people think globally and connect them with the whole world ecomomically, politically, socially, academically and even culturally.
It will improve banking and financial activities. Agriculture, health, education, commerce- all these sectors will highly be benefited by making a Bangladesh a digital one. For implementing this dream of digital Bangladesh, government has to take certain initiatives. First of all uninterrupted () power supply has to be ensured. We have to develop computer network infrastructures throughout the country.
We also have to train our people to acquire ICT skill and ensure equitable access to digital governance services for all strata of the society. Digital governance will curb crime and corruption and pave the way for our country's rapid development. So, to see our country a digital one, education should be computer based and in primary and secondary schools students should get easy access (re) to the computer
ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশ
আজকাল ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশ শব্দটি বাংলাদেশের সর্বস্তরের মানুষের কাছে একটি গুঞ্জন শব্দে পরিণত হয়েছে। এর অর্থ হল একটি আইসিটি ভিত্তিক সোসাইটি নিশ্চিত করার মাধ্যমে বঙ্গদেশকে ডিজিটাল করা যেখানে তথ্য অনলাইনে পাওয়া যাবে এবং যেখানে সরকারি ও বেসরকারি বা আধা-সরকারি সংস্থাগুলির সমস্ত সম্ভাব্য কাজ ডিজিটাল প্রযুক্তির মাধ্যমে সম্পাদিত হবে। ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশের মূলমন্ত্র হলো দেশ ও জাতির সার্বিক উন্নয়নের ওপর জোর দিয়ে প্রযুক্তিভিত্তিক ডিজিটাল শাসন, ই-কমার্স, ই-কৃষি, ই-উৎপাদন, শিক্ষা ইত্যাদি প্রতিষ্ঠা করা।
ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশের সুবিধা অনেক, আমরা যদি ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশ প্রতিষ্ঠা করতে পারি, তাহলে স্বচ্ছতা (er) এবং জবাবদিহিতা বৃদ্ধির মাধ্যমে দুর্নীতি ব্যাপকভাবে হ্রাস পাবে ()। এটি মানুষকে বিশ্বব্যাপী চিন্তা করতে এবং অর্থনৈতিক, রাজনৈতিক, সামাজিক, একাডেমিক এবং এমনকি সাংস্কৃতিকভাবে সমগ্র বিশ্বের সাথে সংযুক্ত করতে সহায়তা করবে। এতে ব্যাংকিং ও আর্থিক কার্যক্রমের উন্নতি হবে।
বাংলাদেশকে ডিজিটাল করার মাধ্যমে কৃষি, স্বাস্থ্য, শিক্ষা, বাণিজ্য- এসব খাত অত্যন্ত উপকৃত হবে। ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশের এই স্বপ্ন বাস্তবায়নে সরকারকে কিছু উদ্যোগ নিতে হবে। সবার আগে নিরবচ্ছিন্ন () বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহ নিশ্চিত করতে হবে। সারা দেশে কম্পিউটার নেটওয়ার্ক অবকাঠামো গড়ে তুলতে হবে।
এছাড়াও আমাদের জনগণকে আইসিটি দক্ষতা অর্জনের জন্য প্রশিক্ষণ দিতে হবে এবং সমাজের সকল স্তরের জন্য ডিজিটাল গভর্নেন্স পরিষেবাগুলিতে সমান অ্যাক্সেস নিশ্চিত করতে হবে। ডিজিটাল শাসন অপরাধ ও দুর্নীতি দমন করবে এবং আমাদের দেশের দ্রুত উন্নয়নের পথ সুগম করবে।
তাই, আমাদের দেশকে ডিজিটাল হিসেবে দেখতে হলে শিক্ষা হওয়া উচিত কম্পিউটার ভিত্তিক এবং প্রাথমিক ও মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ে শিক্ষার্থীদের কম্পিউটারে সহজে প্রবেশাধিকার (পুনরায়) পেতে হবে।
